Storage

What items can I store?

Realistically, we are able to store anything for you, with the exception of perishable and hazardous goods.

How long do I have to store with you? Do I have to give notice to leave?

We do not require any commitment from you other than a payment of one month in advance. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to leave, in order that we can prepare your account.

How secure will my goods be?

All items are locked in their individual containers, these keys are held in a key safe, with no unauthorised access. Our premises are locked at night and have state-of-the-art CCTV surveillance. Our Business Park has is own CCTV, barriers and night watchman.

Will I be able to access my goods?

If your goods are held on a self-store basis then they may be accessed as often as you like within our working hours: 9-5 pm. Monday – Friday, and 9-12 noon Saturdays.

What do I need to do if I wish to dispose of some items?

We are able to provide a skip service for unwanted items, or, we can show authorised individuals (eg from Auction Houses) your goods so that they may be taken to a saleroom.

What is the minimum quantity of items I need to store?

There is no minimum requirement for storing items – we attach equal importance to all items stored with us.

Can I ask for my items to be returned to me?

We are able to offer a full delivery, or collection service of any items held in store to anywhere in the UK mainland.

How do I pay the storage charges?

Our invoices are automatically issued monthly, and these can be settled either in cash, by cheque, credit card or standing order.

How will I know how much space to reserve?

If you give us a rough idea of what you would like to store, we can usually give a fairly accurate indication of space needed and prices.

Do I have to be present when my goods arrive?

No, we can receive the delivery and store it for you, in fact, we can even despatch the items again to your customers without your needing to set foot on our premises.

When most of my orders have been despatched, will I still have to pay for the storage space?

Our mini-warehouse system works on a pay-as-you-go basis. Once all your goods have left our store, then no extra charges are incurred.

How long will I have to pay for the storage space?

We have a minimum payment of one month’s storage charges, thereafter you may leave whenever you wish. Should you goods reduced significantly, then so will your storage charges. You only pay for the amount of space you occupy at any one time.

Can my clients visit the store to collect items with out my being there?

Provided we have your authorisation, and they have proof of identity, we can permit third parties to collect goods from your store without your being present.

Can you despatch goods on my behalf?

A courier service calls at our headquarters every day, or we can deliver bulkier items ourselves for you to anywhere in the U.K. (mainland).

How secure will my goods be?

No-one has access to your mini-warehouse other than you, or one of our authorised members of staff. They are stored in an anonymous container, identified only by their number. The keys for which are kept in our key safe. Our premises are locked at night and have state-of-the –art CCTV surveillance. Our Business Park has its own CCTV, barriers and night watchman.
